Based on my individual Third year project “Mosaico Familiare”.
Research mainly focusing on relationships between people/people and people/objects.

I believe relationships are essential for living. Every individual in the world holds connections with people they care about, it’s inevitable.
Human-object relationship is an interesting bond. We are connected to inanimate objects which hold power towards us, we love them and take care of them like if they were a human. This feeling comes from different sources such as memories, loneliness, replacement, durability, or history.

For some, objects are a way to understand themselves, offering unexpected insights that give the opportunity to reflect the related emotional ties. By the way the user shows its affection and care towards it, there is also a chance to explore the person better. These connections can therefore also play a role in the healing process, helping us confront and overcome past experiences and pain.

I consider relationships to be at the base of design, a way to understand the relations between the user and the product.
Therefore, designed products on these topics can have different uses. For instance, they can be used as a tool to deepen connections or a way to represent them. With its textures and warmth sensations, textile design, such as with weaving, could be a good way to respond to these feelings and deepen the connections.
